According to the EWEA, the National Renewable Energy Action Plans (NREAPs) handed by EU Member States show the EU-23 countries will average at 21.5% renewable energy generation in 2020.
If the predicted percentage is true, it will exceed the target set in 2009 by just under 1%. Also, EWEA forecast that the 21.5% will encompass a cumulative wind capacity of 201GW. However, constraints such as wind farm aviation conflict and wind farm radar interference could substantially hinder these targets.
We can assist wind farm developers to avoid or overcome radar and aviation interference related concerns. We undertake assessments internationally.
