The offshore wind farm has finally been approved in the US after a decade of facing opposition and undergoing environmental and regulatory analysis.
The offshore wind farm, which will include 130 turbines, will be situated near Cape Cod in the state of Massachusetts.
Since December 2001, the wind farm has had public hearings, debates and environmental reviews. There were initially concerns that the wind farm could be hazardous to US air travel because of radar interference.
Pager Power helps resolve radar and radio issues for onshore and offshore wind farms worldwide. To contact us from the US call +44 (0) 1787 319001 or email info@pagerpower.com.
