UK Renewable Subsidy Decision Delayed

UK Renewable Subsidy Decision Delayed
July 23, 2012 Admin

The subsidy levels under the Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROC) Banding Scheme for wind farms and other types of renewable energy, had been planned to be cut by 10%. Although is was rumoured that Chancellor George Osbourne was pushing for cuts as big as 25%.

The final decision was meant to be announced on July 17th 2012, however the government have decided to delay this until later in the year.

Comments have already been made on the subject with RenewableUK chief executive saying it is “unacceptable.”

The ROC banding scheme predominantly affects larger projects, whereas Feed in Tariff (FiT) packages are used for smaller ones. Pager Power offers a FiT package deal for turbines with a maximum tip height of up to 80m.

If you are eligible for our FiT package, you will get value for money since it includes:

– An Online Risk Report (newly titled the Aviation Risk Assessment) for a single turbine
– An Aviation Risk Assessment Expert Commentary
– A Microwave Link Chart
– Up to ½ an hour Telephone Consultation

All for only £398.
