Pager Power has previously undertaken aviation studies in the Netherlands. According to press releases, the Dutch Ministry of Defence has contracted Raytheon to upgrade the radar system at the Royal Netherlands Air Force’s (RNLAF) Woensdrecht air base to mitigate the impact of nearby wind farms on the Primary Surveillance Radar (PSR).
Upgrades to the PSR will include a combination of hardware and software modifications and are likely to enable further expansion of the existing wind farms.
