Pager Power’s growing Technical Team welcomes its newest recruit, Ricky Tso. Ricky joined us in early April and is now working full-time in our Sudbury office.
Ricky graduated from The University of Adelaide with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Following this, Ricky completed his flight training in Adelaide, before qualifying as a First Officer.
Having completed over 2500 flight hours in his post as First Officer, Ricky has a very rich understanding of flight operations from a pilot’s perspective. This experience in the aviation industry as a former pilot has provided us with invaluable insight into how urban and renewable developments can coexist with aviation activity and infrastructure. Ricky has already begun to share his knowledge with the team and will be providing his professional expert opinion going forwards to enhance our consultancy services.
In his spare time, Ricky enjoys visiting museums and historical sites, such as cathedrals across the UK and Europe. He also enjoys playing badminton, like many of us here at Pager Power.
Technical Analyst Role
Our Technical Analysts undertake technical assessments within the areas of solar photovoltaics, wind energy, building developments and aviation, and produce scopes of work with fee estimates for our clients.
Ricky has already begun writing our technical reports, assessing road safety, residential amenity, aviation activity and railway operations and infrastructure. More recently, Ricky has also assessed the cumulative impacts of multiple adjacent solar developments.
Technical Analysts also contribute to the news section and Ricky’s first news article can be found here.
