Chairman, Mike Watson, will be conducting a presentation about managing the impact of wind turbines on DVOR radio navigation beacons at the upcoming Wind Energy Hamburg event.
The Presentation
Titled: “Managing the impact of wind turbines on DFS radio navigation in Schleswig Holstein”, the talk draws upon the recent news that in that particular German region, 4GW of potential wind generation has been halted due to aeronautical objections.
Mike will be giving practical, take home advice to wind developers on effectively manage DVOR radio navigation issues. This has been drawn from his 15+ experience of resolving technical wind turbine radio interference matters in the UK and abroad.
The presentation will take place on Wednesday 24th September 2014 at 13:30, UKTI Stand 303, Hall B1, Upper Floor. If you are going to the Wind Energy Hamburg event, it would be great if you could attend.
Wind Energy Hamburg
The event will be held 23rd – 26th September 2014 at the Hamburg Messe, Germany. The exhibition will focus on both the onshore and offshore wind industry.
