Background
Brexit is in the news and no-one can be certain of the final outcome at this time. We would like to take this opportunity to explain how we plan to continue to support our customers in the European Union, United Kingdom as well as the rest of the world.
Pager Power Services
We advise and undertake assessments for renewable energy and infrastructure developments throughout the world. We deliver services rather than goods which means we do not import or export physical goods.
Pager Power Team
We are all EU citizens. Kai is Dutch and Andrea is Italian – with the rest of us being UK nationals. We all work in our Sudbury office in Suffolk, England.
Brexit Preparations
We have made all the Brexit preparations we reasonably can. We have a EORI number for importing and exporting goods and we have encouraged our non UK team members to apply for settled status.
Currency
We offer our customers a choice of currencies with most electing to pay in Pounds, Euros, US Dollars, Australian Dollars, Indian Rupees or South African Rand.
UK Customers
We will continue to offer advice and technical reports to developers of buildings, solar PV systems and wind turbines.
Irish Customers
Ireland is our second largest market which we support now and will continue to support in the same way – whatever the outcome of Brexit. We undertake solar glint and glare assessments and telecommunications assessments in Ireland.
French Customers
France is our largest market in mainland Europe. Again we will continue to support French wind developers – whatever the Brexit outcome. We undertake Radar Impact Assessments for wind farms that may affect military or meteorological radar.
South African, Indian and Australian Customers
Brexit should have little impact on our services in these countries which are outside the EU. We will continue to support our South African customers providing Radar, Glint & Glare and Telecommunications assessments for wind and solar developers.
Other Customers
We offer our services to renewable energy developers worldwide and will continue to do so whatever the Brexit outcome.
Summary
Our service offering will not change as a result of Brexit. We are very proud of serving customers in the UK, European Union and the rest of the world. For further information please feel free to contact us on +44 1787 319001.
