Wind Farm Radar Interference

With some developments the impact of wind turbines on radar can vary across the entire site, with turbines in some locations able to be shielded by terrain while not in others. Using our specialist software Sightlines our techincal consultancy team are able to produce radar coverage charts for your entire site. This allows you to identify areas where radar impact will be minimised, offering you a key insight in designing and refining the layout.

We are able to help you determine the impact on civil, military and weather radar.

In certain situations in addition to the underlying terrain, buildings may further shield turbines. We are able to survey buildings and then integrate this into our radar analysis.

We will always tailor our services to fit your needs.
