How do wind turbines affect aviation operations and infrastructure?
Wind turbines primarily affect aviation operations in two ways: 1) as a physical obstruction or 2) through interference to electromagnetic signals. The most common issue encountered is the impact of the rotating turbine blade upon radar signals.
