In a previous Pager Power news article it was reported that the UK windfarms produced near 3.4GW of electricity, falling just short of the 3.8GW record which was achieved in May this year. Since then the 3.8GW has been broken.
On Friday 14th September UK wind fed a phenomenal 4.131GW into the national grid. This is a fantastic achievement, and hopefully it will not be long before this new generation figure is beaten.
