New World’s Biggest Offshore Wind Farm to be the Size of Edinburgh

New World’s Biggest Offshore Wind Farm to be the Size of Edinburgh
September 3, 2012 admin

The huge development of up to 339 turbines will claim the title of the world’s biggest offshore wind farm when constructed off of the Caithness coast in Scotland.

As well as generating electricity to power one million Scottish homes, the installing of the wind infrastructure is predicted to create up to 2640 jobs.

However, Ministry of Defence concerns over wind farm radar interference on RAF Lossiemouth have prompted discussion between the developers – Moray Offshore Renewables Ltd – and stakeholders to mitigate such effects.

If you are having a problem with wind farm radar interference, take a look at what services we offer or call us on 01787 319001 to see how we are able to help.
