The purpose of Global Wind Energy Day is to become aware of the power that can be harnessed from the wind and the work that goes into capturing it.
For those who work in the industry the 15th June 2012 is a celebration, a chance to reflect on the progress that wind capturing echnology and pioneers have made in more than 75 countries.
For those who do not work in the business it is designed to help them understand just how important it is, thorugh events and wind visits.
